πŸŽ…πŸŽ„πŸŽπŸŽ†Cephalic Index - Google's NIMA .... Merry Christmas πŸŽ…πŸŽ„πŸŽπŸŽ†

The year 2017 came with lot of surprises, goodness and setbacks just like the crests & troughs of life. Now its time to welcome the advent of a new year with new hopes & aspirations. Year 2018 is expected to bring lot of new developments, technical changes, health & improvements over what it was 2017.

On the auspicious day of Christmas we wish to bring good luck & blessings for ourselves & all the dear ones. But we know even on your holidays you must be expecting a technical sip of tea from us. Have you heard of Cephalic Index? Well I came across this term reading about biometric advancements in technology. Now that the devices & human are becoming more sophisticated making more prone to vulnerabilities. So has the latest advancements. Automatically learned quality assessment for images has recently become a hot topic due to its usefulness in a wide variety of applications such as evaluating image capture pipelines, storage techniques and sharing media. Despite the subjective nature of this problem, most existing methods only predict the mean opinion score provided by datasets. Normally the scientists devised retinal verification as one of the security measures. But now technology has moved towards facial recognition as major advancement. You remember Orkut's (the erstwhile social media buzz) facial recognition. Google has bettered its facial recognition with Artificial Intelligence & is working on NIMA (Neural Image Assessment). Well for our curious readers ,Cephalic index is ratio of length & width of face, mainly used by anthropological studies to gauge origin. It has a great implementation in facial recognition as it gives a deep insight into human face structure. Google is working on neural networks with AI to better this biometric feature. It can be of great help wherein the artificial eyes (read lenses) shall help you lock/unlock devices, monitor them & shall be single mechanism to perform several tasks with a mere glimpse. But as discussed NIMA will be more helpful in image analyzing & perception than more of biometric advancement. The algorithm developed out of it shall be of great implementation in such areas. The technical knowledge shared above shall feel undecorated in this festive season with out technical ☕ recipe. We have cherished our memories to prepare two tasteful cup of tea.

Jaggery tea :- Try adding jaggery powder instead of sugar in tea. In our villages we use to relish a cup of tea in a an earthen pot. If you can have that, the tea is going to be splendid. But be careful as adding jaggery on stove shall ruin your tea. Rather add jaggery only after the tea is poured in cup.

Liquor tea:- This one is for the booz-ies. Try replacing milk with a slice of lemon in tea & a tinge of black pepper with black salt. This tea will leave you with a worth remembering taste bud. We use to take this when there use to be no milk at house. Try this is as a tequila piping hot will give you a tequila worth relishing. Hoping this technical fusion shall bring more prosperity & advancements in life. We wish all our subscribers & readers Merry Christmas. Wish Santa showers gifts of love & prosperity.

With love & warmth,

Team Technical ☕
